We are a Chartered Physiotherapy, Sports Injury and Acupuncture Clinic located in Tuam, Co. Galway.
Our Chartered Physiotherapists specialize in the assessment, treatment and onward management of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions.
We utilize a holistic approach to assess and rehabilitate conditions such as:

Geraldine Dooley
M.I.S.C.P., Lic.Ac.TCM, M.I.A.C.S.T.
Geraldine Dooley, a native of Tuam, graduated from University College Dublin in 1995, with an honors BSc in Physiotherapy. She gained a wide range of experience in all areas of Physiotherapy while working in the Irish Health services, both in a public and private capacity. She is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and CORU, which requires members to have a degree in Physiotherapy, and to stay up to date with current practice. She co-founded the North Galway Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic in 1999, and in 2008 opened her current practice in 7 Trinity Court, Tuam.
She completed her studies in Acupuncture in 2008 at the College of Integrative Acupuncture, and is a member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association Ireland.
Geraldine started studying Craniosacral-Sacral Therapy, Myofascial release and Visceral release in 1999, and has studied extensively with the Upledger Institute, the D,Ambrogio Institute and the Barral Institute.
Geraldine offers an holistic, multi-disciplinery approach to assess and treat your condition, and may use a combination of traditional Physiotherapy techniques, Craniosacral-Sacral therapy, individualized exercise prescription, electrotherapy modalities and Acupuncture to provide the highest standard of care and to ensure a rapid and safe return to work,sport and recreation. She strives to address any underlying issues that will prevent injury recurrence and to educate her patients as to the root cause of their condition.

Alison Blake
MSc. M.I.S.C.P.
Allison joined the Practice in February 2016. She is a native of Galway who graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from The Robert Gordon University Aberdeen, Scotland. Since qualifying, Allison has practiced in both Ireland and the UK and has gained a vast array of experience in all aspects of physiotherapy ranging from and including Musculoskeletal, Gerontological, Orthopaedic, Respiratory, Neurological and Sports Related Injuries.
Allison is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. She aims to deliver individualised treatment and rehabilitation programmes that are based on best practice and ensures that all her patients fully understand the cause of their condition. Allison will provide treatment that targets the underlying cause and meets your individual functional needs. She has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries including lower back and neck pain, shoulder injuries, soft tissue injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.
Allison specialises in the rehabilitation of conditions through the use of a number of techniques like Manual Therapy which includes Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Release Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques and Manipulation where appropriate. She also uses Therapeutic & Functional exercise as well as Acupuncture and has a keen interest in Orthotics and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. Allison is always striving to enhance her clinical practice through continuous professional development so that she can provide the best service possible and keep abreast of best practice.
